About Me
I'm a coloured pencil artist working in the beautiful Stamford area of the UK.  As a child I loved art, of all descriptions, but like most young people I was deterred from going down the starving artist route.  As a result, I enjoyed dabbling in different crafts as a hobby.

I attended a crafts show in 2019 and went to a realism drawing workshop and came away thinking "I wonder". Within weeks I was hooked, starting with graphite and then I was drawn to coloured pensils and realism, especially cats and dogs. A few months later I started doing friends pet portraits, building my confidence & practicing my craft to offer commissions.

With the wonderful support of my family I now do commission work of family pets working from pet reference photos and I take pleasure & pride in my drawings.   All my drawings are done with lightfast materials and can take up to 50 hours to perfect but I find the reward in achieving the finished product.  I have benifited from having tuition from Bonny Snowdon which I feel has made a huge difference to my work and always challenging me to take my work to a higher level.
